If you are migrating an existing book of business, count the accounts and add 30% headroom — upgrading mid-term only costs the difference.
Reseller hosting or your own VPS?
Reseller hosting means the server is run, patched and secured for you; you run the business. A VPS with WHM gives you root and a lower per-account cost at scale, but you own the maintenance.
