Which region should you pick?
If most of your visitors are in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra or Chandigarh, choose DEL-1. If they are in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Hyderabad, Bangalore or Chennai, choose BOM-1. When your audience is split, BOM-1 is the safer default — it has the strongest peering and the lowest average latency across the country.

Data residency and Indian law
Services ordered in BOM-1 and DEL-1 keep customer data inside India, which matters for organisations subject to RBI, IRDAI or government procurement rules, and simplifies compliance under the DPDP Act, 2023. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what leaves the country and why.
