What you get

A real VPS, not a container.

KVM gives each server its own kernel and its own guaranteed resources. Nothing is shared with the tenant next door except the wire.

Full root / Administrator access

SSH or RDP straight in. Install any kernel module, run any daemon, change any sysctl. It is your machine.

Dedicated vCPU and RAM

Memory is never oversold. VDS plans go further and pin physical cores to your instance alone.

Enterprise NVMe storage

Local NVMe in RAID, not network storage. Typical random read latency stays under a millisecond.

Linux or Windows

Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky, AlmaLinux, CentOS Stream and Windows Server images, plus one-click app images.

cPanel, Plesk or nothing

Add cPanel or Plesk at provisioning time for a managed feel, or take the bare OS for an unmanaged VPS.

Snapshots and backups

Take a snapshot before a risky change and roll back in minutes. Scheduled off-server backups are an add-on.

Free DDoS filtering

Volumetric attacks are scrubbed at the edge, on every plan, at no extra cost.

IPv4 + IPv6, rDNS

A dedicated IPv4 address on every VPS, an IPv6 /64, and reverse DNS you can set yourself.

Resize without rebuilding

Move up a plan in a reboot. Disk, RAM and vCPU grow in place; nothing has to be reinstalled.

Buying guide

Which VPS should you buy?

Managed or unmanaged VPS?

An unmanaged VPS is the cheapest way to get dedicated resources: we keep the hardware, network and hypervisor healthy, and everything above the OS is yours. Choose it if you are comfortable with SSH, firewalls and package updates.

A managed VPS adds cPanel or Plesk, OS patching, security hardening and our engineers on your side of the line. Choose it if your time is worth more than the licence fee, or if the server is going to hold client websites.

How much RAM do you actually need?

  • VM 2 (4 GB) — a handful of WordPress or Laravel sites, a staging environment, a Node API, a small game server.
  • VM 4 (8 GB) — the usual starting point for a production site with a database on the same box, or 10–20 small sites behind cPanel.
  • VM 8 (16 GB) — busy WooCommerce, a Redis or Elasticsearch node, CI runners, a 100-slot Minecraft server.
  • VDS 4 / VDS 8 — when steady CPU matters more than peak: video transcoding, heavy cron work, an ERP or Tally deployment.

Why an Indian VPS, and not a cheaper one abroad?

Round-trip time from Mumbai to a Singapore VPS is roughly 55–70 ms; to a US East VPS it is 220–260 ms. A page that makes six sequential requests pays that latency six times. From our Mumbai region, users in western India see 6–12 ms, and Delhi serves the north at similar numbers.

There is a commercial reason too: you get a GST invoice you can claim input credit on, payment in rupees by UPI or net banking, and support in IST rather than an inbox that replies while you are asleep.

Moving an existing server to us

Migration is free and done by our team. Send us the current server's details, we copy sites, databases, mail and DNS to the new VPS, run it in parallel until you are happy, then cut over at a time you choose — usually late evening IST. Tell us on +91 75994 50220 or support@bigdomainhost.com.

Support that picks up the phone.

24×7, from our office in Agra, in IST — Hindi or English. Sales, migration and emergencies all reach the same engineers. No offshore queue, no 48-hour first reply.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? Call +91 75994 50220 or write to support@bigdomainhost.com — a human replies, 24×7.

What is KVM VPS hosting?

KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is full hardware virtualisation. Each VPS boots its own kernel and gets a fixed slice of CPU, RAM and NVMe that is not shared with other customers. Unlike container virtualisation such as OpenVZ, you can load kernel modules, run Docker natively, mount swap and install any operating system.

How fast is a VPS delivered after payment?

Linux VPS instances are provisioned automatically and are usually ready in under 60 seconds. Windows instances take 5–10 minutes because of the image size. Dedicated servers take 2–4 hours during working hours.

Is the cheapest VPS in India good enough for WordPress?

The VM 2 plan (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe) comfortably runs several WordPress sites with caching. For WooCommerce, or for a site doing more than about 20,000 visits a month, start at VM 4.

Do I get full root access?

Yes, on every Linux VPS, and full Administrator access on Windows. There is also out-of-band console access from the control panel, so you can still get in after a firewall mistake.

Can I add cPanel to a VPS?

Yes. cPanel and WHM, Plesk and CyberPanel can be pre-installed at order time or added later. Licence costs are billed at the vendor price with no markup.

Where are the servers located?

Mumbai (BOM-1) and Delhi NCR (DEL-1), both Tier III facilities inside India. See the data centre locations page for typical latency from each major city.

Can I upgrade later without rebuilding?

Yes. vCPU, RAM and disk grow in place; the server reboots once and comes back with the new allocation. Downgrades are possible where the disk in use fits the smaller plan.

How do I pay, and do I get a GST invoice?

UPI, net banking, debit and credit cards, and bank transfer. Every payment gets a GST tax invoice with your GSTIN on it, so Indian businesses can claim input credit.

Is there a refund if the VPS is not right for me?

VPS plans are not covered by the 7-day money-back guarantee that applies to shared hosting, because the resources are reserved for you from the first minute. Annual terms cancelled mid-term are credited pro-rata for unused full months. See the refund policy for the detail.

What support do I get, and when?

24×7 by phone on +91 75994 50220, by WhatsApp and by email at support@bigdomainhost.com. Phone is answered immediately; email gets a first reply inside an hour. The team sits in Agra and works in IST.
